Welcome to the future home of team-based information for Nebraska's American Legion teams -- the BaseballNebraska Network. This site is the hub of an interconnected network of team websites being built across the state of Nebraska for dozens of American Legion baseball teams in Classes A, B and C at both the Senior Legion and Junior Legion level.
Users of this site will not only be able to get an overview of what is happening in Legion baseball across the state but they will also be able to click on team website links to view local content on the website of any participating team.
These networked team sites are available at no additional charge for any team that chooses to participate in the BaseballNebraska Network. The Network will take the place of the BaseballNebraska.com's "Summer Teams Database" that in the past has been used to collect scores, schedules and standings from various teams, primarily at the Class A level. However, instead of logging on to a central BaseballNebraska site to enter team information, each team's representative will now log in to the administrative portal of their own team website. Information such as schedules, scores, game highlights and rosters will then appear on both the team website and on the Network Main Site. This system represents a significant technical upgrade over what BaseballNebraska has offered in the past and has the additional benefit of providing teams with a high quality, user-friendly team website that can be customized to the team's needs. Moreover, a significant effort is being made to encourage use of this system statewide at all levels of Legion baseball to create a comprehensive, central repository of team information for teams from one end of the state to the other.
If a team already has its own website that it prefers to use as its official team website, the BaseballNebraska Network website for that team can be used for data entry purposes only to transmit team information to this main site. The team may continue to use its current website as its "public website," and the team link on this site will direct traffic to the team's public site.
